Metal Polish Products
SCOPE
On the product care page we mentioned the name of some metal polishes that are useful in cleaning your solid aluminium product. This page contains links to those polish manufacturer sites as well as some others, that are well established names.
Most of the sites listed on this page give helpful advice on which polish is the right one. There are polishes for brass, copper, silver, gold, guns, swords, cars, bikes and alloy wheels.
There are tips on care for metals. Tips on how to polish, and lots of glossy pictures. But there is nothing that shines better than aluminium, not even silver.
It's best for me to leave it up to the experts. Look at these sites for the answers, and don't forget good old Windolene. It works.

BRILIANT
There is a wide range of quality polishes here. A very bright jazzy site.
Briliant is the brand name for Europe. English Custom Polish is the American brand.
ENGLISH CUSTOM POLISH
"The finest metal polishes in the world." Endorsed by a few British museums. There is an open challenge to other polish manufacturers.
WENOL
This is an excellent German polish. A lot of people swear by it.
AUTOSOL
The German site is under construction, so for now the link points to Australia. This is a firm favourite amongst bikers in South Africa.
GODDARDS
Founded in 1839. There is an interesting tip here. "Don't mix stainless and sterling in the dishwasher. If they touch, it creates a chemical reaction that can leave black spots on the silver."
